Privacy policy

This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over your information. It is written to meet the expectations of privacy laws including the GDPR where it applies to you.

What we collect

Account details (name, email, login method), the onboarding information you give us (country, language, currency, available time, skills, interests, budget band, equipment and income goal), the content you create on the platform (plans, tasks, products, marketing assets), your subscription and order records, support conversations, and basic technical data such as error logs needed to keep the service working.

Why we use it

To personalise coaching and recommendations to your situation, to operate your account and entitlements, to process payments and prevent fraud, to provide support, to keep the platform secure, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use the content you create to train third-party models.

Who processes it

Our hosting, database and AI processing providers act as processors on our instructions, and Paystack processes payments. Some of these providers operate outside your country, so your data may be transferred internationally under appropriate safeguards. We keep the number of processors as small as we can.

Your rights

You can access your data, export it, correct it, ask us to delete it, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent for optional communications at any time. Export is available from your account page. For deletion or any other request, contact support and we will action it within the period your local law requires.

Retention

We keep account and financial records for as long as your account is open and for the period our tax and accounting obligations require afterwards. Support requests are kept for a reasonable period so we can reference past issues.

Cookies and consent

We use essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. Any optional analytics or marketing cookies are only set where consent is required and given. Where you are in a region that requires consent, you can decline optional cookies and still use the platform.

Security

Access to your records is restricted to you and to platform administrators who need it to operate and support the service. API keys and payment credentials are held in server-side configuration and are never exposed to the browser. We never store raw card details.

Children

The academy is not directed at children. Where a platform you use has age rules, those rules apply to you, and the minimum age for an account with us is the age of digital consent in your country.
