Your first 7 days: a checklist
Getting started4 minute readbeginner
What to actually do in your first week, in order. Print it and tick the boxes.
Day 1 — Decide
- Choose one route and write it in one sentence
- Write down the hours per week you will give it, and put them in your calendar as appointments
Day 2 — Learn the minimum
- Find the three best free resources for your route and read only those
- Write one page of notes on how people in this route actually get paid
Day 3 — Build proof
- Produce one small sample or demo, even if nobody asked for it
- Ask one honest person to criticise it
Day 4 — Prepare how you will be reached
- Set up a professional email address
- Put your offer in one paragraph: who you help, what they get, what it costs
Day 5 — Find buyers
- Build a list of twenty real prospects
- Note one true observation about each
Day 6 — Contact ten
- Send ten short, specific messages, one per prospect
- Do not use one copy-pasted message for all of them
Day 7 — Review and repeat
- Record what happened and what you would change
- Send the next ten messages
- Ask your coach to adjust the plan based on what you found
What day 7 usually looks like
Most likely: no replies yet, and that is normal. What matters is that by the end of the week you have a list, an offer, and something to show. Those three things are what every later success is built on.
